Jake's Day Out 2024
Jake’s Day Out 2024 - Youth & Family in the Outdoors Event is coming to Dickson County Senior High at 509 Henslee Drive, Dickson, TN. FREE BBQ lunch will be served from 11:00am - 2:00pm. Giveaways begin at 3:00pm. Children MUST be in the building and have ticket in hand by 2:00pm.
Boater Safety Class at Jake's Day Out
Ground Level Outdoors will be hosting a boater safety course at Dickson County High School from 8:00am-12:00pm, the morning of Saturday, March 16, 2024 at Ground Level Outdoors Jake’s Day Out event. Registration is required through the TWRA website. Students wanting to register can do so at this link using Passcode DHS at: https://twra.state.tn.us/BoatingEducationStudentRegistration A $10 Type 600 Boater Safety Exam Permit is required, available anywhere you can purchase hunting/fishing licenses. Dickson Sportsman Store is an excellent local option.
Spring Turkey Season
April 4 - May 17, 2020: Bag limit: 4 bearded birds. No more than 1 per day.
Spring Turkey - Young Sportsman
Young Sportsman (ages 6-16): Mar. 28-29, 2020 Daily bag: 1 bearded bird per day. Counts toward spring season bag of four (4).
Boater Safety Course - POSTPONED
THIS CLASS HAS BEEN POSTPONED ALONG WITH JAKE’S DAY OUT 2020 DUE TO UNEXPECTED SCHOOL CLOSINGS IN DICKSON COUNTY. PLEASE CHECK BACK FOR UPDATES.
